Tim Watson-Mitchell
Principal, Acting Coach & Singing Coach
Tim trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, completing a three year acting course. Since graduating, he has appeared in 'The Bill' on ITV, 'Doctors' and 'Waking the Dead' on BBC1 and has acted in feature films and commercials. Tim also had a taste of the London stage when he played the lead role in 'A Time For Everything'.
Tim's love of performing arts soon directed him towards teaching. He has taught acting and singing in a number of stage academies across London and Essex, and is now loving this wonderful chapter in Sheffield.
Sharon Watson-Mitchell
Principal, Acting Coach & Dance Coach
Sharon graduated from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in 2006. She has worked in film, television, commercials and theatre. Her screen credits include 'Doctors' and 'Waking the Dead' for the BBC, and commercials for KFC, Thomson and Transport For London. Sharon also gained vast experience from a six-month UK theatre tour.
Sharon has taught drama and dance at various stage and primary schools for the last thirteen years. Her main passion in life is inspiring children and teenagers through creative arts.
Charlotte Ironmonger
Dance Coach
Charlotte is a qualified IDTA dance teacher and also a fully qualified NASM personal trainer and fitness instructor. Through her 20's she travelled to many different places across Europe as a dancer and worked extensively in Asia performing at award shows and in Bollywood movies. She has toured as part of the award-winning Angelettes , a soul and Motown group who supported the Four Tops on their UK tour. She has also toured as part of UK Theatre shows including 'The Motown Express', 'The Detroit Express' and 'Sinatra & Friends'.
Charlotte has trained in acting at The Manchester School of Acting and The Oxford School of Drama. Charlotte’s television and commercial credits include Hollyoaks, Coronarion Street, AO, Microsoft, Claireabella and Soreen.
Charlotte has been a part of the Verve team since the start and loves teaching at the academy.
Olivia Wilson
Singing Coach
Olivia brings a wealth of experience as a vocal coach to her students. She has a degree in Music Production and Sound Recording from a Royale School of Music.
Olivia trained in Classical, Musical Theatre, Rock and Contemporary vocals and has performed internationally as part of a choir and as a solo artist. She has a real passion for developing and nurturing talent in vocal technique. During her time at Verve, Olivia has provided a unique and organic learning platform for her students, from which they are able to grow and learn all about their vocal abilities and new-found confidence.
The close-knit family environment that resonates from day one, coupled with students thirst for knowledge results in Verve providing a real sense of fulfilment for Olivia.
Laura Gregory
Dance Coach
Training in various dance styles including Street Dance, Contemporary, Tap and Ballet makes Laura a versatile and well-rounded teacher and performer.
Starting her dance training in Sheffield, she has also trained in London and at prestigious dance schools in New York including Broadway Dance Center and Martha Graham Contemporary Dance School. Laura's recent credits include music videos, flash mobs, working as a backing dancer for Tony Christie and dancing at a number of big exhibitions.
Megan Dexter
Junior Academy Dance Coach
Megan is currently undertaking a degree in Acting at UCLan (University of Central Lancashire) and, since being there, has had great feedback for her passion, dedication and technique.
She’s been at Verve as a student since our launch date. She got the first ever Principals' Award, and has worked her way up to being an assistant with the Main Academy and a Junior Academy dance teacher. Verve inspired Megan to take her training further and she hopes to pass the incredible Verve experience she had as a student on to others.
Jamillah Fletcher
Dance Coach
Jamillah trained at Shockout Arts in Manchester, she achieved a BA Honours Degree in Professional and Commercial dance in 2018. She trained in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, acting, singing, and commercial, other styles include ballroom and latin dance.
Jamillah’s performance credits include Shockout Arts showcases at the Granada Studios in 2016, 'Seven Deadly Sins' at The Lowry Theatre in 2017 and Z-Arts performing ‘a Chorus Line’ in 2018. Jamillah now performs professionally, working for a variety of dance companies in the UK such as The Vegas Showgirls and Boys, Event Dancers, Supreme Showgirls, Chica Bonita, Carmina and Invasion Angels.
Jamillah always looks forward to teaching at Verve and enjoys working with the Advanced Dance troupe every weekend.
